While it was a short week, we accomplished a lot! Publishing our Writing Like An Author pieces and completing a short lesson on Fire Safety -- ask your kiddos about our mock "fire drill" where we acted out what we would do if the classroom filled with smoke. We ended the week with a Den Rally in the gym!

- Glow Run
is tonight! - Glow Run has been postponed to November 9th due to weather!
- Reflex and RAZ kids
- 30 minutes of each must be completed by Friday morning, 11/2
- Word Study quiz on Friday, 11/16
- Our Fall Party is on Wednesday, 10/31!
- It will be in our classroom from 11:45am - 1pm.
- As per the front office and Mr. Thiessen, you will NOT be able to sign your student out early this day. There is a large volume of parties being on the same day.
- Mr. Thiessen and front office request that you DO NOT park in the bus loop and leave the building by 2:20pm at the latest to allow for buses and Kiss-and-Ride to operate.
- Our party will be over by 1pm so this is just an FYI if you have other parties to attend! 😊

* Social Studies - We finished our science unit on Habitats and reviewed fire safety. Next week, we will start learning about the Native American tribes -- Powhatan, Lakota, and Pueblo.
* Math - We started to review addition facts.
