* Reading - We focused on finding the main idea of a text and its supporting details. We will continue this next week as it is a short week.
* Writing - We practiced crafting/building/creating powerful endings (the kiddos thought of those synonyms!).

* Social Studies - We had a one-day lesson on fossils and then started learning about the Powhatan Tribe.
* Math - We practiced subtraction and learned a new strategy to help us subtract.
Due to conferences, the kiddos have a four day weekend! I look forward to meeting with you for conferences on Monday.
