Short week, but lots of great learning! We started presenting our Native American projects and had our first play practice today! Thank you for coming in for conferences. I enjoyed meeting each of you and discussing your students.

* Reading - We focused on finding the main idea of a text and its supporting details. We will continue this next week as it is a short week.
* Writing - We practiced crafting/building/creating powerful endings (the kiddos thought of those synonyms!).

* Social Studies - We had a one-day lesson on fossils and then started learning about the Powhatan Tribe.
* Math - We practiced subtraction and learned a new strategy to help us subtract.
