Finally, a full week of school! It was a little rough being completely back in routine, but we all survived! The kiddos were definitely troopers😊

Week Overview

* Reading -  We learned about an Author's Purpose in writing a text -- to entertain, to persuade, or to inform.
* Writing -  We published our autobiographies (finally after all that snow!).

* Social Studies - We learned about Rosa Parks, George Washington Carver, and Benjamin Franklin. Next week, we will learn about Abraham Lincoln and Cesar Chavez and review all nine of our famous Americans.

* Math - We continued to learn about the attributes of 3D shapes and started talking about 2D shapes.
