We had a pretty good week! Testing has started for end of the year assessments and the kids are being respectful of their classmates and working quietly for the most part. It looks like we will be having a busy end of the year.

* Reading - We focused on reading fiction stories.
* Writing - We wrote short stories based on picture prompts and started our poetry unit with couplets.

* Science/Social Studies - We finished our animal cycles unit and started our economics unit. We learned about the three different resources -- human (services), capital (tools/objects), and natural (made in nature, not by man).
* Math - We finished our graphing unit and started measurement. We started with learning about the ruler and inches.
