Friday Reminders 9/27/19

We started doing our math station rotations this week and the kiddos jumped right in! To clarify, math stations are just review topics. Therefore, the kids are focusing their energy on their independent work on the new material each day. If they do not get to their station, then that is okay.

We also had a Den Rally this morning!

Week Overview

* Reading -  We reviewed beginning, middle, and end (plot) along with problem and solution.
* Writing -  We practice correcting sentences to be sure they are complete with punctuation and capitalization.

* Social Studies - We learned about the difference between communities of the past and present. We also learned about the three types of communities -- urban, suburban, and rural.

* Math - We continued to learn about place value. We will start to use comparing symbols (<, >, =) to show the difference between two numbers.
