We had a great week! We completed all of our MAP testing (math & reading) for the fall; we will be reassessing in the winter and spring. We will begin PALS assessments and DRA assessments in the next couple of weeks. Please consider checking The Puma Paw on Sunday for more information about these assessments!

* Reading - We learned about Just Right books! Everyone got to use the electronic check out to get new books and return their old books.
* Writing - We reviewed about nouns -- proper and common.

* Social Studies - We finished our Citizenship unit this week! We also worked on the Class President campaigns (speeches, posters, stickers/propaganda).
* Math - We continued to learn about patterns and touched on 2-digit place value. We also learned about expanded form!
