- Please remember to send in a can of frosting for your child to use! Each kiddo must have their own can. Please send in a bag of candy as well to share. Thank you! 😊
- Estimation test on Thursday, December 19th
- This may change due to the snow adjusting the schedule. For now, please make sure to practice estimation with your child. We will be covering this in class as well.
- Estimation is rounding the two numbers in a equation to the nearest ten. The answer is then the two rounded numbers added together.
- Example -- 42 + 55 becomes 40 + 60 = 90. 90 is the answer to the estimation problem.
- No new Word Study this week.
- We will start this up again in January.
- To replace this practice, I would recommend that your child spends some time on Lalilo. It supports practice with phonics and word families.
