Friday Reminders 2/14/2020

We did a wonderful job for such a weird week. The kids rolled well with the changes and adjusted as needed. We will be having a normal routine week, next week. We had a wonderful time at our Valentine's Day party! Thank you to our Room Parent, Mrs. Martinez, and all of our parents who came to help us celebrate!

Week Overview
* Reading - We focused on fluency skills and summarizing.
* Writing - We wrote letters that recommended good books to first graders.

* Science/Social Studies - We finished our weather unit. We started our Famous Americans unit and talked about Martin Luther King Jr. and Jackie Robinson.

* Math - We finished our time unit by learning about quarter past and practicing drawing different times.
