Today, the read aloud is chapters 13 and 14 of EllRay Jakes is NOT a Chicken by Sally Warner; it was published by the Penguin Group. There are only 16 chapters in this book! We are so close to finishing EllRay's story.
Questions:
1. How did you feel learning that Jared started this "rivalry" over getting his feelings hurt?
2. Do you agree with EllRay that having the fight AFTER school allows him to keep his promise? (Remember his promise is to not get into trouble DURING/AT school.)
