Wonderful week with the Room 20 kids! The kids are on the ball and really great at keeping up with our routines and schedules. We are getting ready to welcome a new student on Tuesday! This student will be with the Navy group for in-person days. There is a welcome post on Seesaw for the kiddos to say hello.

- Scholastic Book Clubs is still active! You can get books shipped to your home instead of school. Our class code is RKQRV. You can view the March catalogs and information HERE.
- March orders are due by 3/26/21.
Week Overview
*Morning Meeting - We discussed and learned about ways to practice self-care.
*Reading - We reviewed main idea in read aloud and learned about dialogue tags (ex. "said", "asked", "whispered", etc.). We will discuss dialogue next week.
*Writing - We practicing writing using pictures as prompts. This was to practice matching writing to the illustrations they draw. We will start writing fiction stories next week.
*Math - We practiced counting collections of coins and Maroon started talking about the dollar bill. Next week, we will continue practicing counting collections of coins.
*Social Studies - We learned about Rosa Parks and Helen Keller. The kids learned about George Washington Carver and Benjamin Franklin on their playlists and we will review on Monday. Next week, we will learn about Cesar Chavez and Abraham Lincoln and finish up our unit.
