We had a wonderful week of learning! The kids are growing their friendships and are definitely excited for the last couple weeks of school (and the class party for sure). Thank you for getting the permission slips and money back so quickly! Remember that we do not have school on Monday, May 31st as it is Memorial Day. The kiddos will be back to school on Tuesday, June 1st.
Just a heads up that it is now tick season and some kiddos at school have found them after recess. Gentle suggestion to check your kiddo for ticks when they get home.
Reminders for Friday, May 28th
- Please make sure your child has completed the following assignments on Seesaw. All these assignments are GRADED and due by 6/1.
- Body Systems quiz (health/science)
- Symmetry quiz (math)
- Story Elements quiz (reading)
- Past & Present Tense Verbs (writing)
- RAZ and Dreambox due by Friday, 6/4
- 30 minutes of RAZ kids
- 30 minutes of Dreambox
- To earn Fun Friday time (extra indoor recess) or it will be used to complete missing work.
- No School on Monday, 5/31
- No Google Meet, no small groups, and no playlist.
- Please encourage your kiddo to complete any missing Seesaw work this day!
- Class Party on Friday, 6/4

Week Overview
*Morning Meeting - We shared our numbers.
*Reading - We reviewed story elements in fiction - characters, setting, problem, and solution.
*Writing - We started our comic books this week.
*Math - We learned about symmetry and will start learning about fractions next week.
*Health - We started our nutrition unit and learned about healthy eating and body systems.
