Friday Updates 10/7/22

Friday, October 7, 2022

This week, the kids only got about 10 minutes of Fun Friday. Part of this was due to talking during handwriting before Fun Friday. Part of it was due to owing some "free time" for talking during "learning time" throughout the week. We had some trouble with talking while I was teaching or giving directions. I am trying new strategies (you may have heard about the "light cube") to help build their patience and listening skills. However, it would be highly appreciated if you could please talk with your child about making smart choices - Who are you sitting next to? Will you be able to focus next to them? Where are you working (desk, floor, Ms. Stiffler's desk, the carpet)? Can you focus there? Thank you!
