- Weekly Reminders
- Wear sneakers on Wednesday, and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Return library books by Wednesday!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Ice Cream at lunch on Thursday!
- Ice cream is $1.

SEL/Morning Meeting - We talked about different feelings.
Reading - We practiced getting new information from a nonfiction text (research).
Writing - We published our small moments writing. We started brainstorming topics that we know all about. We will continue this next week.

Read Aloud - We identified the author's message (central message) -- what life lesson does the author want us to learn from reading this book? Next week, we will just review skills.
Math - We finished up our subtraction unit. We started fact families and will wrap it up next week before Thanksgiving break.
Science - We started our Native American unit with the Powhatan tribe. We will learn about Pueblo and Lakota tribes after Thanksgiving break.
