What a week! The kids definitely had a change in routine with having a substitute teacher three days this week. Overall, it seems that they did well with the challenge and were good listeners. We had a couple chats throughout the day to reinforce the expectations of our classroom. 😊

- Book Fair - Fall 2022
- The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Pinebrook!
- We previewed the books as a class today, 12/9.
- Family Night is Tuesday, 12/13 from 3:00 - 6:00pm in Pinebrook Elementary Library.
- The fair will be open during school hours from 12/12 - 12/16.
- Just like the Holiday Shop, please send your child with their money and I will send them when it works around our schedule.

- Wear sneakers on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.

- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.

Social Studies - We learned about the Lakota this week. Next week, we will work in class on a project to share our knowledge of one of the native groups.
Handwriting - We practiced our handwriting skills.
