- Remember your Chromebook and charger every day!
- Homework packet due Friday, 9/5
- Packet will go home on Tuesday, 9/2.
- Complete Field Trip Paperwork!

- Reading MAP test on Tuesday, 9/2

Notes
- Weekly Reminder
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $1.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table. You can walk your kiddo back to the classroom after lunch (when Ms. Stiffler comes to pick them up) if you would like.
- Our lunch is 12:10 - 12:40pm.

SEL/Morning Meeting - The first link will tell you about our conversations throughout the week. This link will tell you more about what SEL is from LCPS.
Reading - We practiced our reading routines. Next week, we will focus on central idea of fiction books.
Writing - We wrote about our names and summer vacation. Next week, we will start brainstorming ideas for a personal narrative.

Math - We practiced skip counting and learned about pictographs. Next week, we will practice with patterns - increasing/growing patterns, repeating patterns.
Social Studies - We started our Citizenship unit this week! We learned about ways to be a good citizen and rules versus laws. We will continue this learning next week.
Handwriting - We will start handwriting next week.
