- Weekly Reminder
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $1.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table. You can walk your kiddo back to the classroom after lunch (when Ms. Stiffler comes to pick them up) if you would like.
- Our lunch is 12:10 - 12:40pm.

SEL/Morning Meeting - The first link will tell you about our conversations throughout the week. This link will tell you more about what SEL is from LCPS.
Reading - We learned about setting and clues to find the setting. We also started using the text to support our thinking.
Writing - We wrote some details about a time we made the world a better place. We will publish this next week.

Math - We practiced practiced telling time, using a number line, and explaining our thinking. We will continue using number lines and start reviewing adding and subtracting to 10 next week.
Social Studies - We learned about U.S. Symbols. Next week, we will learn about different U.S. holidays.
Handwriting - We practiced writing manuscript - f, l, s, e, o, u.
