Notes
- Weekly Reminder
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $2.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table.
- Our lunch is 12:10 - 12:40pm.

Reading - We continued to talk about character traits and summarized some nonfiction texts.
Writing - We focused on pronouns this week - he/him/his/himself, she/her/hers/herself, it/itself, us/we/ourselves, you/yours/yourself, they/them/themselves. Next week, we will practice proper nouns.
Math - We started learning how to add 2-digit numbers. We will continue this next week.
Social Studies- We learned about the Indigenous Peoples of the Lakota. Next week, we will review our learning and write about it.
Handwriting - We practiced writing manuscript.
