- Remember your Chromebook and charger every day!
- Homework packet due Friday, 4/17.
- It will be sent home Monday, 4/13.
- No school on Friday, 4/10 - teacher work day
- MAP testing on 4/14 and 4/16
- Reformers and Champions research paper on 4/16
- Your child needs to be able to define “reformer” and “champion” and the contributions of Abraham Lincoln. Your child also needs to know ONE person from this list and their impact on United States history. They will be focusing on Abraham Lincoln for a lesson and doing research in class.
- World Baazar event and performance on Friday, 4/17

- Weekly Reminders
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $2.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table.
- Our lunch is 12:10 - 12:40pm.

Week Overview
Reading - We practiced our reading skills.
Writing - We reviewed our typing skills.
Math - We started reviewing math skills in preparation for MAP. We will continue this next week.
Social Studies - We learned about Sacagawea, Meriwhether Lewis, William Clark, Neil Armstrong, and Amelia Earhart. Next week, we will learn about different reformers and champions, including Abraham Lincoln.
Handwriting - We learned how to write u, w, j, e, and l in cursive.
