- Please remember to continue collecting plastic caps for the Third Grade OTTW project!
- You can send them in with your student anytime!
- Third Grade is trying to collect 500 pounds of caps for their project.
- Pinebrook Elementary is supporting Comfort Cases this winter.
- Second grade is responsible for donating new backpacks and small duffel bags.
- There will be a packing party on February 17th!
- Please consider donating! You may send these in with your student at any time before February 9th.

Week Overview
* Reading - We learned about the elements of Fairy Tales. We began comparing and contrasting two versions of fairy tales (Cinderella vs. Adelita, a Mexican Cinderella story). We will continue to do this next week.
* Writing - We wrote persuasive letters. We will begin talking about Fractured Fairy Tales next week!
* Science - We finished our weather unit. We will start our Egypt unit next week!
* Math - We took our Quarter 2 Post-Test and started Geometry this week!
