Week Overview
* Reading - We focused on strategies for figuring out tricky words. Next week, we will learn a few more strategies and how authors have intentions with their words.
* Writing - We published our small moments writing and wrote some fun Halloween stories.

* Science - We learned about how habitats can be changed - pollution, drought, litter, flood.
* Math - We practiced with answering word problems and using drawings to help solve problems. Next week, we will be reviewing addition and subtraction skills before starting regrouping in Quarter 2.
Remember that there is a teacher work day on Monday, 10/28 so I will see your kiddo on Tuesday.
