Homework 11/6/19

Today, we talked about taking our time to do our work and looking over our writing/answers. I informed the kiddos that I do not compare them to anyone but themselves. Therefore, they should not be racing to be first or better than anyone else. I want to see what THEY know, not their neighbor. If they do not do their best, then I do not know what they truly understand or need help with. The kiddos seemed to understand this and I hope to see improvement during this quarter. I will be reminding them of this conversation as needed.
