The link will be emailed out around 8:00am on Tuesday mornings.
Expectations:
- Students will not Join the Google Meet until our scheduled time of 10:00am. I will wait a few minutes before getting started to give everyone time to get in.
- Students will mute their mic immediately upon entering the Google Meet.
- Students will not unmute their mic unless asked by Ms. Stiffler.
- When the Meet ends, students will leave the call. They are not to hang around.
- Students will be kind in the chat box.
- Students will not PLAY around the chat box while Ms. Stiffler is teaching.
- They may post a comment if they have a question related to what is being taught.
- They may post a comment if asked to by Ms. Stiffler.
Important Reminders:
- The Meet will be recorded.
- The recorded video link will be posted to ClassDojo and Seesaw.
- It is parent responsibility to decide if your child's webcam is on or off.
- The Meet is not required. Again, a link will be sent out.
- The Meet is still considered a school environment and student behavior should reflect this.
- A great extension that we have found is called "Google Meet Grid View". You can find it here.
- This shows everyone in the call on one screen instead of just one person.
- You will need to use Google Chrome in order to use it.
- To use it when logged into the Meet, you will click on the black grid box inside the Meet.
