Thank you for all your support with Math MAP this week! The kids were rockstars and everything went smoothly. We will be doing the Reading MAP on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this coming week (10/7, 10/8, 10/9).
- Your child will test on the same day that they did this week; if they tested on Wednesday, 9/30, they will test on Wednesday, 10/7.
- I will email a reminder about your child's test the evening before.
- It will run the same way that it did this week with us meeting every morning, the kids testing staying on, and the kids not testing going to work on their playlist. We will have a completely normal day on Tuesday.
Please make sure to be checking the Puma Paw for important information from Mr. Thiessen. He updates it each Sunday. Please be sure to check your email for messages from the Pinebrook PTA, infopnbpta@gmail.com; there's lots of cool things happening soon!
I understand that we are all promoting independence with our second graders. However, please be sure to check over your child's Seesaw activities with them each day. This is where their grades are coming from and some kids are NOT completing all of the graded activities. Incomplete activities are being graded as a 1 (one). I recommend checking their "To-Do" folder, their comments (under Inbox, and then Notifications), and checking their "In-Progress" folder which is where drafts go.
