Just like that, Quarter 1 is over! Thank you for your support so far this school year. We've jumped right into conferences and report cards will be coming out on Monday, 11/8. The kids really have made tremendous growth over the past several weeks and are continuing to flourish in second grade. Kudos to all that you are doing at home with them, even if it's simply reading a book with them. It takes a team effort and you, me, and the kids are doing well. 😉
Next week is a little wonky, but we'll get through it! Please see below for dates and refer to this post for some more information about the Asynchronous Days. Notes
- **If you have not already, please consider putting extra masks in your kiddo's backpack. Accidents happen and it's always best when the kids have masks that they are already comfortable wearing.
- Please also be sure that your kiddo's masks fit their faces well!

- Scholastic Book Club October orders are due TODAY, 10/28/21. Our class code is RKQRV.
Morning Meeting/SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) - We reviewed bullying prevention as previously taught by Ms. Morales.
Reading - We learned how to identify the main idea of a fiction story.
Writing - We worked on our fiction stories.

Math - We practiced our addition skills.
Science/Health - We finished our habitat unit and reviewed fire safety.
