2nd Grade Field Trip to Cub Run

Dear families,
The second grade will be going to Cub Run RECenter in Fairfax, Virginia to participate in their Life Cycles and Habitats Nature Program.
About the Nature Program: We will be learning about the habitats and life cycles that can be found and observed in the area around Cub Run. The kids will be studying Cub Run’s stream valley and how the critters are able to survive in the habitat. They will be exploring the life cycles of insects, plants, birds, mammals, and/or amphibians.
What to Wear: The students will be exploring all sorts of areas outside so please be sure to send them in clothes that can get dirty. Students should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes.
Lunch: Students need to bring a bag lunch. Bag lunches should not contain anything breakable. It is preferred that all contents are in disposable bags/containers as teachers and chaperones are NOT responsible for any lost items. We also request that students do not bring foods containing nuts or peanuts.
