- Weekly Reminder
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $2.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table.
- Our lunch is 12:10 - 12:40pm.

Reading - We practiced making inferences. We will review central idea next week.
Writing - We learned about plural nouns this week and start talking about our descriptive essay topics (places we'd like to visit). We will continue this next week.

Math - We practiced addition and subtraction and worked on equal (=) and unequal (=/=) expressions. Next week, we will practice our skip counting skills.
Science - We wrapped up our labs and started our plant life cycles unit with living and nonliving things. We will continue this next week.
Handwriting - We practiced writing manuscript - capital letters F, L, S, A.
