Week Overview
SEL/Morning Meeting - Family CommunicationHome Link
Math - We reviewed and continued practing 2-digit subtraction.
Phonics - Due to testing, we did not learn any new phonemes. We will pick it up again on Tuesday; the homework packet will have the same lists from this week.
Reading - We continued learning about freshwater habitats and how to recognize nonfiction text features - table of contents, headings, pictures, captions, maps. You can follow our learning on the mind map!
Writing - We focused on conjunctions this week - words that connect two sentences/ideas - and, but, so.
Science - We finished up learning about force with a magnetism lab. We will start learning about weather, major storms, and how it affects habitats over time (erosion, weathering) next week.

I will see the kids back at school on 1/16/24!
Have a wonderful 3-day weekend,
