Week Overview
SEL/Morning Meeting - Family CommunicationHome Link
Math - We reviewed rounding and learned how to estimate sums and differences. Next week, we will start our money unit. We will learn how to count amounts of money up to $2.00, using coins and dollar bills.
Phonics - We learned about open and closed syllables. No new heart words this week.
Reading - We finished learning about freshwater habitats and started learning about volcanoes. We will be learning how to sequence events in the correct order - first, then, next, last. You can follow our learning on the mind map!
Writing - We focused on conjunctions this week - words that connect two sentences/ideas - and, but, so.
Science - We started learning about different types of weather and disaster weather. We will continue this learning next week.

Have a wonderful weekend and stay dry,
