- Weekly Reminder
- Return library books by Wednesday each week!
- If you do not return your books, you will not be allowed to pick out new books.
- Wear sneakers on Monday and Friday for P.E.
- If you do not wear sneakers/tennis shoes/trainers or closed-toed shoes (NO boots), you will not be allowed to participate in P.E. This is a rule from the P.E. teachers.
- Ice Cream will be available at lunch next week!
- Ice cream is $2.
- We would prefer that students plan to purchase ice cream on Fridays. Per LCPS, they are allowed to buy it any day of the week. We encourage them to buy ice cream only on Fridays so that they are less likely to make it a competition.
- House Spirit Days are on Fridays.
- Wear your house color on Fridays to show house spirit.
- Parents can join at lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
- Please be sure to bring your ID card to get in the front door.
- Please make sure to stay at our table.

Reading - We focused mainly on our vocabulary this week; please see the Class Story on ClassDojo for the current vocabulary words. We will learn about theme next week - what is the lesson or moral that the author wants you to learn from reading their story.
Writing - We learned about verbs (action words) and the difference between past tense and present tense verbs. We will learn about adverbs next week and write about our opinions on different topics.
Math - We continued working on place value with 2-digit and 3-digit numbers. We will learn how to put numbers in order from least to greatest and greatest to least and compare using < less than, > greater than, and = equal to.
Social Studies- We started learning about revolutionary figures from the Revolutionary War period of the United States. We will continue this next week and then start learning about habitats.
Handwriting - We practiced writing manuscript.
